Touch Signal Workshop

TOUCH SIGNALS WORKSHOP

Presenters: Maricar Marquez and Beth Jordan

Touch Signals is used with people who are deaf-blind; providing visual and environmental information using various methods of touch on the body.  These signals do not interrupt formal spoken or signed communication.  Touch Signals are discreet and in real-time; allowing the deaf-blind person greater awareness of what is occurring in their surroundings.
