We want to share this with you on behalf of Grace Church Special Needs Ministry-
Dear SOAR Families,
We had a great night under the Big Top as we experienced the Greatest SOAR on Earth with our Circus SOAR R&R! We had 126 individuals with special needs (18 mos – 51 y/o), 68 siblings and 373 volunteers take part and SMILES EVERYWHERE! Our older siblings had an great evening at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. It was awesome seeing all of the smiles on everyone’s face! We had several new SOAR families come for the first time as well as many new volunteers who served for the first time! We heard multiple stories of what a blessing the evening was to you. We loved seeing the smiles on the parents faces returning to pick up their kids, and the kids with huge smiles not wanting to go home! All of the pictures will be going on Facebook in the coming days! Please make sure you have shared your pictures with me by Wednesday, Jan 20! We would love to have you “like” our Facebook page and review us.
Our devotional for the evening shared that the Bible has it’s own Circus acts! The Strong Man: Sampson; the Lion Tamer: Daniel; and the Giant: David and Goliath. We learned that God will give you the strength that you need to handle anything you need, He will tame all of the lions in your life, and He will help you conquer your giants. With God, ALL things are possible!
Our next R&R will be Friday May 6, 2016! We will have a Star Wars theme! We will not start registration until March 1 and are hoping to have online registration for both volunteers and families!

SOAR Adult Class on Sundays at 11. This is for individuals in Middle School and older
Our next SOAR Family Support Group on Saturday Apr 16 from 530-645 pm Topic to be determined. You need to RSVP at [email protected]; we do provide child care.
SOAR Moms Bunco Night – Fri, Jan 22, 630-9pm – At Grace Church in room 30. Bring your favorite snack and $5 and have a night of laughter, talking with other moms and just time to relax! No childcare available. Please RSVP with Pam Westbrook at westbrook6@yahoo. com.SOAR Special Needs Day Camp: July 18-22, 2016! Save the date! Online registration will open March 1.
