Town Hall Scheduled for Monday, April 29th! Starts at 10:00AM!

April 23, 2013   Please read this important message:   Johnson County Representatives Arlen Siegfreid and John Rubin have organized a town hall meeting for next Monday, April 29, 2013, to provide an opportunity for a reasoned and respectful exchange of information, suggestions and ideas on KanCare and the I/DD long-term-care waiver.    They have invited:   ·        All Johnson County legislators ·        Representatives from the three KanCare Managed Care Organizations: Amerigroup, Sunflower and United Healthcare ·        Department for Aging and Disability Services Secretary, Shawn Sullivan ·        Families and representatives of Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities ·        Service providers ·        Representatives of area Community Developmental Disability Organizations   This town hall has been scheduled for:   Monday, April 29, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Olathe City Hall – 100 E Santa Fe Street in Olathe   Your legislators have received your emails and telephone calls and now need to see the actual faces of their constituents.   I know this may not a good time for many, but if at all possible, please attend.   Warm regards,       Lurena Mead   JCDS Community Relations Manager 913.826.2212
