Open Enrollment for KanCare Beneficiaries

Consumers that are currently enrolled in KanCare with Aetna, Sunflower, or United HealthCare are in their open enrollment period to either remain with their current insurance carrier or switch. The current options for KanCare enrollees include Aetna, Sunflower, or United HealthCare.Please direct consumers to this website to review the different plans and ways to switch if they desire.

Any consumers that do change insurance will have a “continuity of care” meaning that the new insurance company will honor their plan of care for the following 90 days before making changes.
