Camp Encourage is look for help!
Dear Professionals, Supporters, and Friends,
I am contacting you in hopes of spreading the word to your students, colleagues, and or groups regarding volunteer opportunities with CAMP ENCOURAGE, a quality overnight camp for MO and KS youth with autism spectrum disorder located just west of the greater Kansas City area.
Attached, please find a flyer that can be printed and posted (or distributed) to individuals that might be interested in volunteering prior to or during Camp Encourage. If preferred, I can also mail hard copies your way.

Camp Encourage serves as an amazing professional development opportunity! Volunteers gain excellent training and irreplaceable experiences that positively impacts their profession and/or studies.

Many campers remain on the waiting list year after year. Through strategic planning and support from the community, we were able to increase our services in 2017—providing FOUR times the number of services than in 2007, our founding year. The continuation of such growth will require increasing the number of volunteers serving our campers. Thus, your assistance in spreading the word and encouraging applicants is crucial and extremely appreciated!
Last: we are also happy to come and share information about Camp Encourage should further in-person information be helpful (or should you ever need a speaker). We are passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and recreational skills of youth with autism spectrum disorder.
