1. KCSL’s Parent Helpline 1-800-CHILDREN is a free, statewide, anonymous, information and referral service. It provides a trained person on the other end who will listen, empathize with your situation and offer support. There’s no question too small or problem too big. The Helpline is available 24/7 in English and Spanish and can refer you to services anywhere in Kansas. 2. The Children’s Shelter Resources Management Service/Financial Assistance – provides limited funding to pay for direct services designed to prevent system involvement and state custody. We accept referrals for this assistance from outside-agency caseworkers on behalf of their clients. 99% of families served by Resource Management did not have a child come into state custody within six months of the case closing. https://www.theshelterinc.org/juvenile-intake-1
