Special Pops Swim Lessons

Explore the water by learning adjustment, entry, front/back glide, kicking and arm movement on front/back, underwater exploration, and combined strokes on front/back.

Special Pops Open Swim

A special time reserved for fun in the pool. Play basketball, swim laps, walk and talk in the lazy river channel, or just hang out. Certified lifeguards supervise. Sorry, no punch passes.

Special Pops Shape Up

Combine music, fitness and fun while learning some new dances and exercises to get into shape.  Participants try a different dance or exercise each week.  Great for guys and gals.

Special Pops 5K Training

Have you ever wanted to run a 5k? This program is designed to help beginners runners prepare for the Summer Sizzle 5K on August 15th. The training program will begin with walking for a set time and running for a set amount of time.  Each week we increase the amount of time running and decrease the time walking.  By the end of the program you’ll be ready for the Sizzle 5k!  5K registration is included in fee. Offered in partnership with Coach Meaghan Ridgway of Finish Strong Training, LLC.

Ma’asim Tovim (Good Works) is a unique day camp experience at the Jewish Community Center that helps others through community service and they have invited us to join them for three afternoons of fun. Join us Saturday mornings as artists paint a plate, mug, or bowl. Project ideas provided or artist may create their own design, either way, our helpful staff provides guidance in creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Companion assistant welcome and recommended as required.

Special Olympics T-Ball

No experience necessary. Learn basic skills while playing with friends. League schedules given at practice. Attend a T-Bones game at the end of the season.

Special Olympics Sports Day

Enjoy an entire day of sports activities. Choose from bocce, basketball, jazzercise, volleyball, soccer, tennis, bowling, and softball. Held rain or shine, so dress appropriately. Lunch included. Current physical form on file required. Sorry, volunteer credit cannot be used for this event.
