New Olathe Location & The Next SOARly Needed R&R Event in February!

What an amazing evening last night! It felt like Christmas inside and outside at our Christmas SOAR R&R! We had several groups come serve with us and so many people shared how blessed they were to serve our amazing families! They all absolutely fell in love with your children and can’t wait for the next event! We all love you and your families and we are so glad we could bless you!
We had 148 individuals with special needs (11 mos – 29 y/o), 68 siblings and 413 volunteers take part and SMILES EVERYWHERE! A record night! Santa and Mrs Claus visited us as well! Our older siblings had an great evening at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. It was awesome seeing all of the smiles on everyone’s face! We had several new SOAR families come for the first time as well as many new volunteers who served for the first time! We heard multiple stories of what a blessing the evening was to you. We loved seeing the smiles on the parents faces returning to pick up their kids, and the kids with huge smiles not wanting to go home! All of the pictures will be going on Facebook in the coming days! Please make sure you have shared your pictures with me by Wednesday, Nov 23! Our next big event is our SOARly Needed R&R on Feb 24, online registration will be after New Years. The theme will be Superheroes!

SOAR Adult Class on Sundays at 11. This is for individuals in Middle School and older

SOAR Moms Bunco Night – Fri, Dec 9, 630-9pm – At Grace Church in room 30. Bring your favorite snack and $5 and have a night of laughter, talking with other moms and just time to relax! No childcare available. Please RSVP with Pam Westbrook at westbrook6@yahoo. com
