The Y Challenger program for children and young adults with diverse abilities shines as an example of how participating in healthy activities can result in not only improved physical
fitness but also personal growth, fun and friendships.

This year, we are proud to celebrate a decade of teamwork, friendship and memories. We hope you will join us for our wide range of activities. No athlete will be turned away, please ask about our financial assistance opportunities to get everyone playing the game!

SPORTS

Join us this winter and spring for soccer and baseball. Download our latest flier for more information regarding sports programs.

All Challenger sports activities are for ages 4-30+ and cost $40 per season.

SOCCER
Season begins the week of March 21 in Lee’s Summit, North Kansas City, Overland Park and Excelsior Springs. Register for this program byMarch 7.

YOUNG ADULT ACTIVITIES
Teens and young adults can get more connected with peers through our monthly outings. Enjoy socializing, food and fun  activities that are inclusive of all abilities.

EASTER BUNNY BASH
Saturday, March 19, 10-11 a.m.
Join us for an Easter egg hunt. Kids ages 2-13 will be divided into groups led by dedicated Bunny counselors.

FAMILY FUN ABILITY DAY
Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Everyone in the community is invited to be part of this free inclusive celebration, filled with lots of family fun at the Fred and Shirley Pryor YMCA Challenger Sports Complex.
